ABOUT THE BUDIMEX GROUP
We carry out a number of activities to strengthen the ethical culture among both employees and business partners. In order to exercise the utmost diligence in complying with sustainable development standards, we are taking a number of actions, including the implementation of the Code of Conduct for Business Partners, as well as training to build awareness of preventing and counteracting conflicts of interest.
STRATEGY OF THE BUDIMEX GROUP
The Budimex Group invariably focuses on developing a strong, valuable and diverse portfolio of orders, based on investments affecting the quality of life of current and future generations. To build a stable foundation for the implementation of strategic goals, it goes beyond the traditional areas of activity of a construction company.
THE BUDIMEX GROUP IN 2022
Last year, the Budimex Group completed numerous road, infrastructure, railway, water, energy, industrial and R&D projects. It has also invested in electromobility and renewable energy projects, thus joining the national energy transition. The financial results for 2022 reflect the wide range of activities and business commitment of the Group.
MATERIALITY OF INFORMATION IN THE REPORT AND RISK MANAGEMENT
The Budimex Group has identified potentially significant issues arising from good practices and regulations, including OECD guidelines and the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Human rights issues have been taken into account in the identification process.
DUE DILIGENCE AND HUMAN RIGHTS
The Budimex Group has implemented business due diligence strategies and procedures. They apply to m.in. the company’s principles of human work protection, in various dimensions, as well as other important topics highlighted in the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
COMPLIANCE WITH THE EUROPEAN UNION TAXONOMY
In accordance with the criteria set out in the climate and environmental policy of the European Union, the Budimex Group carried out a detailed verification of its operations in terms of its environmental impact.

The Budimex Group has in place precisely defined commitments, objectives, indicators and rules governing the management of the organisation’s impact on the climate and environment, both locally and globally. As a responsible and sustainable entity, the Group has defined the principles of efficient use of natural resources, as well as the promotion of environmental responsibility among employees and partners.
EMPLOYEE ISSUES IN THE BUDIMEX GROUP
Creating a friendly, stable and safe workplace are the priorities of the Budimex Group as an employer. The Group has implemented a number of projects to meet the development needs of employees, provide equal opportunities and support the development of women in the construction industry.
SOCIAL ISSUES IN THE BUDIMEX GROUP
The Budimex Group attaches great importance to cooperation with local communities and limiting the impact of its activities on the immediate environment. It wants to be a good neighbour, contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of the beneficiaries of the implemented investments. The Group also conducts sponsorship and charity activities – on a local and national scale.
