In the “Pearls of the Polish Stock Exchange” ranking organised by “Gazeta Giełdy Parkiet”, Budimex was ranked first in the category of companies with the highest quota increase in results and capitalisation and in the category of companies with the highest quota growth in business. In the main ranking of the most dynamic companies, Budimex took 8th. place. In the sector ranking, including industry and construction, our company was ranked 3rd. behind Integer.Pl and Radpol.

The aim of the project was to select those listed companies that stood out in terms of development both in terms of financial results and market capitalization.

The evaluation criteria are:

  • change in sales revenues in 2010 compared to 2009,
  • change in revenues over three years,
  • change in operating profit in 2010 compared to 2009,
  • change in operating profit over three years,
  • return on equity in 2010,
  • change in return on equity over three years,
  • change in capitalization in 2010 compared to the end of 2009,
  • recapitalization over three years.

Budimex’s 1st place in the ranking – according to the organisers – “This is primarily due to the strong financial condition. In the categories related to this area, the construction tycoon received almost the maximum possible number of points. On top of that, there was a solid bonus for capitalization growth. It is worth noting that Budimex shares have been standing out for months against the background of the entire construction industry, which has been doing extremely poorly this year in terms of price changes.”
