In connection with the development strategy adopted by the Company for the coming years, the planned expansion of the company’s operations and changes in the organizational structure, The Management Board and the Supervisory Board of Mostostal Kraków have appointed three new Members of the Board: Kacper Jaskot, Paweł Śmigla, Tomasz Guzik. So far, the Management Board of the company belonging to the Budimex Group has been represented by the President of the Management Board – Jacek Lech (CEO) and Member of the Management Board – Jakub Tomaszewski (CFO). The change came into force on 20 January 2022.
Kacper Jaskot is a graduate of the Cracow University of Technology in the field of Civil Engineering. He completed prestigious international development programs Global Management Program (ESADE Business School). He has been associated with Mostostal Kraków since 2006, where he started working as a Site Engineer. His career in the Budimex Group shows that Kacper has gone through the entire development path, being promoted successively to Site Manager, Director of the Contracts Team, and since 2018 Director of the Implementation Division. As a Member of the Management Board, he will continue to manage the Implementation Division in the field of delivery and assembly of steel structures, as well as the production area of the Steel Construction Plant.
Paweł Śmigla graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. He started his career in the Budimex Group in 2010 as a Legal Advisor, then he became the head of the Legal Office at Mostostal Kraków. Since 2018, he has been responsible for the commercial, valuation and design and technical areas as the Director of the Commercial Division. Since 2019, he has been the Company’s Proxy. As a Member of the Management Board, he will continue to be responsible for the Commercial Division, which also includes the Legal Department.
Tomasz Guzik is a graduate of the Cracow University of Technology at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, majoring in Civil Engineering. He has been working for the Budimex Group since November 2004. He started his career at Budimex Dromex as an Assistant Site Manager, then Site Engineer and Works Manager. For less than a year, he worked for Ferrovial Agroman S.A. as a Production Manager. In the years 2008 – 2020, he gained experience at Budimex in the following positions: Valuation, Deputy Contract Manager and then Contract Manager. Since January 2021, he has been the Director of the Contracts Team at Mostostal Kraków. As a Member of the Management Board, he will be responsible for the Industrial Implementation Division.
The decision to expand the Management Board is a natural continuation of the planned increase in Mostostal Kraków’s market share and strategic development directions. The company’s mission is to support customers in demanding construction projects by providing tailored solutions. The strategy for 2022-2024 is related to the current operations and also assumes business diversification. The company plans to increase the scale of operations on the domestic and foreign markets, while increasing its production potential. In addition to its current portfolio of services: construction and assembly works, prefabrication and delivery of steel structures for the most important sectors of industrial, energy, cement and lime, metallurgy, chemical, bridge and gas transmission, it plans to expand its services to industrial customers, as well as to join the energy transition processes.
