Subcontractors have once again appreciated Budimex – according to the latest ASM ranking by the Centre for Analysis and Market Research, Budimex is still one of the two best-rated construction companies in Poland in terms of cooperation with subcontractors.
In the survey, in which more than 300 companies from all over the country participated, Budimex once again turned out to be one of the two leading construction companies with which, in the opinion of the partners, cooperation is the best. As in the previous year, Budimex was also among the recommended general contractors as a partner for cooperation, as well as one of the best companies assessed in terms of work safety, financial conditions and timely payments.
“During the implementation of individual projects, we make every effort to ensure that subcontractors are satisfied with the terms of cooperation and experience its highest standards. We are all the more pleased with the trust placed in us by industry experts and thus with the distinction that confirmed our activities in this field – says Artur Popko, President of the Management Board of Budimex S.A.
Cooperation with an experienced and respected general contractor undoubtedly significantly increases the level of financial security of partners. All joint activities of Budimex with subcontractors are organised in such a way as to guarantee them receipt of all funds included in the contract. As part of this, in addition to a transparent financial policy, the company has also introduced in recent years such solutions as dividing payments into lower amounts and thus more frequent payments to subcontractors. Partnership relations with subcontractors also mean support and development of local entrepreneurs. Budimex focuses on long-term cooperation with companies operating in the areas where project activities are located.

Similar results in the ASM ranking of the Analysis and Market Research Centre were achieved by Budimex in 2020. In connection with the pandemic, out of concern for the health of its partners, Budimex has also extended the COVID-19 vaccination programme to subcontractors’ employees and their families this year. At the present time, the company will put even more emphasis on compliance with health and safety rules by subcontractors and training them in this area.
Budimex handles over 250 contracts throughout Polish and establishes cooperation with about 50,000 contractors. Since 2000, the majority shareholder of the company has been Ferrovial, a Spanish construction and service concern, which is one of the largest construction companies in Europe.
