Budimex SA, as the leading Polish general contractor, has been included in the prestigious Europe’s Best Employers 2026 ranking prepared by the Financial Times and Statista. The company was ranked 166th in the list of the 1000 best employers in Europe and 14th among companies in the construction industry. Only two Polish construction companies were included in the ranking.
This year’s list prepared by the Financial Times included a total of 15 companies from Polish. The ranking was created on the basis of over 6 million anonymous ratings of employees from all over Europe. The survey covered areas such as working conditions, remuneration, professional development opportunities and employer image. Companies employing at least 500 employees and operating in at least two European countries were eligible for the ranking.
The Europe’s Best Employers 2026 ranking takes into account both employees’ opinions about their own employers and the ratings of companies operating in a given industry. The authors of the ranking emphasize that the authentic experience of employees and the perception of employers’ brands on the labor market were crucial.

In recent months, Budimex has also been recognized for its activities in the area of HR and building a modern work environment. In April 2026, the company received the Friendly Workplace 2026 Special Award awarded by the MarkaPracodawcy.pl portal for consistent investment in employee development, organizational culture, and activities supporting wellbeing and diversity. The company also remains a laureate of numerous industry awards, including m.in the title of “Construction Company of the Year” and awards granted for the quality of implemented investments and management standards.
