Budimex is one of the two best-rated construction companies in the country by subcontractors. This is confirmed by the latest research conducted among over 300 companies by the ASM Analysis and Market Research Center.
Budimex was indicated as the best general contractor offering the most favourable financial terms and timely payments. It is also recommended as the best partner for the implementation of joint projects. Taking into account all the criteria of cooperation, such as safety or recommendations for other partners, Budimex was among the top two best-rated construction companies.

General contractors who run extensive projects often have to deal with a low margin. The larger the scale of the contract, the greater the profitability problems of the contractors conducting them, and thus the greater the possibility of potential losses. Admittedly, the situation of giants on the market has improved recently. According to the Central Statistical Office, their profitability ratio increased from 1.2% in 2018 to 2.4% at the beginning of 2020. In the case of the small and medium-sized enterprise sector, these indicators are much more favorable. The profitability of medium-sized enterprises increased from 5.1% to 7.3%, and the profitability of small enterprises from 8.8% to 10.6%.
An example of a large company that at the beginning of 2020 recorded a higher gross profit margin in the construction part (compared to the second quarter of 2019) was Budimex SA with a result of 2.2% at the end of the first half of the year. The company carries out construction contracts with the help of many subcontractors and suppliers, and the quality of this cooperation is confirmed by the latest report prepared by ASM Center for Analysis and Market Research.
