The Budimex Group has obtained further financing from mBank for the development of its portfolio of renewable energy sources. The funds will be used for the development, construction and operation of the “Kamelia” project – a photovoltaic farm being implemented in Wymysłowo, in the municipality of Mszczonów (Masovian Voivodeship).

The financing was granted to Fotowoltaika HIG XIV sp. z o.o. (owned by Budimex SA) and includes an investment loan and a debt service loan (DSRF) with a total value of PLN 63.7 million (i.e. EUR 14.8 million). The agreement supports the implementation of the investment in a formula that meets the needs of the RES project and its life cycle – from the construction stage to the operational phase.

“The financing obtained for the Kamelia  PV project is another step in the consistent implementation of the Budimex Group’s strategy in the area of renewable energy sources. The financing structure is designed to support the project throughout its entire life cycle – from the construction stage to the operational phase – ensuring stable and predictable conditions for the implementation of the investment. “Kamelia” strengthens our generation portfolio and brings us closer to the goal of further increasing the share of green energy both for our own needs and for external customers – Roman Skrzyniarz, Project Financing Expert, Budimex SA.

The financing of the PV project “Kamelia” is another example of our commitment to the development of green energy in Poland. We are pleased that we can once again support partners such as the Budimex Group in the implementation of its ambitious strategy in the area of renewable energy sources, contributing to the energy transition and increasing the share of clean energy in the national mix ,” says Michał Konkol, Structured Projects Manager, mBank.

The “Kamelia” project is an installation comprising 33,870 panels with a total connection capacity of 21 MW. The farm is designed in an east-west pattern, allowing for a more even use of solar radiation during the day and a more stable energy production profile.

This is another transaction of financing RES projects by mBank implemented by the Budimex Group. In July 2025, mBank financed the “Azalia” photovoltaic project. Thanks to the development of these investments, in 2025 the Budimex Group achieved a total of over 90 MW of capacity in the production of green energy, satisfying both its own needs and those of external customers.
