Budimex – the largest Polish construction employer – has implemented the latest cloud-based HRIS human resources management system.

On Wednesday, 23 October, Budimex received the Oracle Customer of the Year award for this implementation. Budimex was the only winner of this award, along with Orange. Budimex is one of the first companies in Poland to implement the functionalities of this system locally. The plan is to cover the main “soft” HR processes such as periodic evaluation, goal setting, training and development, succession planning, recruitment, as well as support for the area of compensation and benefits. In this way, the company hopes to provide flexible self-service for employees and supervisors in line with the latest global HR practices. HRIS will cover nearly 6 thousand employees in 5 companies of the Budimex Group. Work on the implementation of the system has been underway since the beginning of 2019.

JWe are the first in the Ferrovial Group to implement this solution. This is an award for the entire HR team that, with the support of the IT team, implemented the first HRIS functionalities within 8 months – says Cezary Mączka – Director of the Human Resources Management Division at Budimex. With As soon as the HRIS base module was put into use,  we started working on further functionalities that we intend to launch in the near future, which will be periodic evaluation and goal setting. At the same time, we are working on optimizing the HRIS based on the first experiences of our thousands of users – adds Cezary Mączka.

The technology was provided by Oracle, and Fizz Consulting, the implementation partner of the American company, is responsible for its implementation. It is the largest project of this type implemented in the construction industry and one of the largest implementations of cloud solutions in Poland. HRIS will assist in the implementation of HR activities by accessing the system on a computer, tablet and phone.
