Budimex has been awarded the prestigious title of “Responsible Employer – HR Leader 2025”, awarded by the Jury of the Economy Zone programme – an independent supplement of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. The award confirms the company’s commitment to creating a safe, responsible and friendly working environment.
The “Responsible Employer – HR Leader” program meets the requirements of the modern labor market and promotes outstanding employers. The aim of the competition organized by the Chapter of the Economy Zone is to search for companies – leaders in the field of HR, which effectively manage human resources, while taking care of the well-being and development of their employees – promoting good practices and models regarding HR policy.
Budimex has been appreciated, among m.in other things, for its activity on the labour market, an extensive system for the development of employees’ competencies, and a transparent model of promotions and incentive activities. The jury also drew attention to the company’s broad ESG policy – in particular, care for local communities in the places where Budimex carries out its investments.
This is the second time that Budimex has been awarded the title of “Responsible Employer HR Leader”. The company once again confirms consistent attention to activities and strategies supporting the well-being and development of employees, including numerous training and development programs and active support for the development of women in the construction industry. The company has also been pursuing a policy of equal opportunities, including equal pay, for years. Transparent rules of recruitment, promotion and remuneration mean that the wage gap between women and men at Budimex remains at the level of approx. 3% – significantly below the national and European average.

The “Responsible Employer – HR Leader” competition has a long tradition, dating back to 2011. Budimex is one of the few companies that has received the award more than once in the 14-year history of the programme. The jury assesses, m.in, the quality of employment, compliance with health and safety rules, opportunities for professional development and commitment to corporate social responsibility.
