Budimex S.A., the largest general contractor in Poland, has signed a contract for the construction of a new Specialist Outpatient Clinic at the L. Zamenhof University Children’s Clinical Hospital in Białystok. The value of the contract is nearly PLN 86 million gross. This is another investment carried out by the company for this facility, confirming the investor’s long-term cooperation and trust in Budimex’s experience.
Construction work began on July 15, 2026 and will last 14 months. During this time, a modern specialist clinic facility will be built by Budimex in the “build” formula. After the completion of the works and obtaining the required acceptances, the building will be put into use, providing patients and hospital staff with a new, functional space for the provision of specialist medical care.
Modern infrastructure for specialist paediatric care
As part of the investment, Budimex will carry out a comprehensive range of works, including, m.in demolition, earthworks and construction works, reconstruction of existing underground installations, construction of sanitary, electrical and teletechnical installations, as well as delivery and installation of equipment, including lifting equipment. The project also involves the modernization of selected elements of the existing hospital infrastructure, including a heating substation and a water treatment plant. An integral part of the facility will be an underground garage with an area of over 4.6 thousand m².

The construction of the UDSK Specialist Clinics will be a strategic investment strengthening the potential of one of the most important children’s hospitals in north-eastern Poland. It will enable comprehensive, modern and coordinated outpatient care for up to several hundred patients a day, significantly improving the availability of specialist health services for children and young people from the entire region.
The next stage of long-term cooperation
This is another important investment of Budimex being carried out on the premises of the L. Zamenhof University Children’s Clinical Hospital in Białystok. The company has been involved in the development of the hospital complex for years – it has, m.in been involved in the construction of the Psychiatric Centre, the expansion of existing facilities, as well as the modernization of the technical infrastructure and kitchen facilities of the facility. The projects so far have significantly developed the facilities of one of the most important paediatric facilities in the region, and the new clinic will be the next stage of this process.
