The ranking of the 50 best employers in Poland has been published. Budimex took second place, confirming its position as one of the most attractive employers in the country. The ranking evaluated, among m.in, employment stability, salary policy, recruitment, benefits package and the company’s approach to employee development.
Budimex employs almost 7000 employees in Poland on the basis of employment contracts. Last year, the company increased its employment by an additional 360 people. The ranking of the 50 best employers in Poland also highlights an extensive bonus system and a wide package of benefits supporting the professional development of employees.
This is a particularly important distinction in a challenging situation on the labour market. As indicated in the publication, the unemployment rate in Poland in March was 6.1 percent, and about 951 thousand unemployed people were registered in labor offices. At the same time, employers in many sectors, especially in construction, transport and manufacturing, continue to experience a shortage of qualified specialists. Budimex, as the leader of the Polish construction market, has been responding to these challenges for years by developing employee competencies and cooperating with technical schools, creating new, qualified staff.

The company carries out road, hydrotechnical, railway and energy investments in the country, and at the same time develops modern employment and vocational education programs. The company currently cooperates with technical schools, supporting the education of future labour market specialists. In recent years, Budimex has regularly received awards confirming high management standards, a responsible approach to employment and business partnerships.
The company was honored, m.in, with the Friendly Workplace 2026 Special Award, awarded to employers who consistently invest in people and create a modern work environment based on values, respect and responsible management. Budimex also won the title of “General Contractor Friendly to Construction Companies” in the Construction Brand of the Year 2025 ranking, based on the opinions of contractors and subcontractors. These awards confirm that Budimex effectively combines dynamic business development with a responsible approach to employees, partners and the entire market environment.
