Budimex is developing the “Alumni BX” programme addressed to former employees and associates in order to maintain contact with them, support the exchange of experiences and facilitate access to information from the life of the organisation. In the construction industry, based on experience and specialist competences, long-term relationships with people associated with the company are of vital importance.
The Alumni BX initiative is a platform for former Budimex employees, which allows them to stay in touch and access the most important information from the life of the organization. The programme is intended to support the development and facilitate the exchange of experiences within the Alumni community, in line with Budimex’s approach to sustainable development and social activities. Since the beginning of the Alumni BX programme, thanks to this initiative, 30 people have already returned to Budimex
On the LinkedIn group, those interested will find content in several categories: stories of Alumni who have returned to the company, job offers, materials related to benefits and mental health, as well as Casual Friday – looser publications on Fridays. Thanks to participation in the moderated community, former employees know what is happening at Budimex and are the first to learn about new projects and recruitments.
“After 16 years of working at Budimex, in 2021 I wanted to try something new. After four years, I came back because it is a company that sets high demands, but gives satisfaction, stability and development – and above all, you work here with good people. It is good to return to places where relationships and work standards matter, and the door really remains open,” says Łukasz Piotrowski, Warranty Expert at Budimex.
Budimex is developing its activities in this area – in the coming year, it is planned to involve more people in the project: former employees and teams responsible for HR. In addition, by the end of 2026, more than 1000 new employees will be added to the company’s ranks, and Budimex is already working to create convenient working and development conditions for them.
“At Budimex, we always put people first, which is why we also build good relationships with people who have chosen a different career path. The BX Alumni Program allows us to stay connected and create a community based on mutual support. We also want to make it clear that a potential return to Budimex will be a special reason for our satisfaction,” says Anna Karyś-Sosińska, Member of the Management Board of Budimex, Director of the Human Resources Management Division. “Our approach to social responsibility and equality in the workplace is regularly recognised. Last year, we received the titles of Best Quality Employer 2025, Responsible Employer and the Equal Pay Certificate, among m.in ,” he adds.
