Budimex has signed a contract with the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Szczecin for the construction of a new Police Headquarters in Świnoujście. The value of the contract is nearly PLN 37 million net. The investment will include a complex of facilities with a total area of 4,617 m², including, m.in, the main building, a shooting range, garages and accompanying infrastructure. The works are scheduled to be completed in April 2029.
The largest Polish general contractor has signed a contract with the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Szczecin for the construction of a new headquarters of the Police Headquarters in Świnoujście. The value of the contract is PLN 36,919,986.99 net, and the completion of the works is scheduled for April 2029.
The largest element of the investment will be the main building with a usable area of approximately 3,050 m². The building has been designed as a 2/3-storey building with a partial basement. Its interior will include, among m.in, office spaces, interrogation rooms, rooms for detainees, briefing rooms, an exercise room, an archive, and social and sanitary facilities. As part of the contract, Budimex will also build a garage building with a usable area of 735 m². It will house a three-station shooting range with a 25 m long shooting axis and a temporary shelter place. An additional element of the complex will be a building for police dogs with a usable area of 150 m², which will be equipped with pens and a paddock.
Infrastructure and land development
The scope of work also includes the construction of two steel shelters for 10 and 5 vehicles, as well as shelters for a generator and garbage canopy. A 32-metre radio mast will also be built on the roof of the main building. Budimex will also be responsible for comprehensive land development. As part of the works, internal roads, green areas and elements of landscaping will be constructed. The total area of the buildings will be 4,617 m² and their volume will be 19,470 m³.

The entire investment includes the construction and comprehensive equipment of the facility and land development. As a result, a modern complex will be built in Świnoujście, which will be a full infrastructure base for the Police Headquarters after the completion of the works.
This is not the first project of this type by Budimex, the company’s portfolio includes, among m.in the construction of the headquarters of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Kalisz and a police station in Białystok. Currently, it is also building a new headquarters of the District Police Headquarters in Ostróda.
