Budimex will support the Municipal Social Services Centre in Wrocław (MCUS) by donating a total of 1000 litres of disinfectants. This is another form of help that the leader of the construction industry has offered
as part of the fight against the spread of COVID-19.
The liquids donated by Budimex will be used for disinfection in four nursing homes and eight day care homes located in the MCUS structure in Wrocław. The protective measures received will reduce the likelihood of infection with the SARS-Cov-2 virus in facilities with a total of 910 people. MCUS clients and residents are mainly elderly, disabled or chronically ill people who are particularly vulnerable to severe COVID-19 disease.
“Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been actively supporting Polish hospitals and institutions from the public sector. In this difficult time of the epidemic, any help, especially for the most vulnerable social groups, is of great importance. Budimex will donate 1000 litres of disinfectant liquids, which will go to Wrocław nursing homes and will contribute to increasing safety in these facilities for the next few months – says Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board, CEO of Budimex SA.
Aid activities in Wrocław are another initiative undertaken by the leader of the construction industry as part of the fight against the coronavirus epidemic in Poland. Already in March this year. Budimex has joined the “We are together. We help” and donated nearly PLN 3 million for the purchase of medical equipment to over 20 hospitals fighting COVID. Financial aid in the form of a non-refundable donation went to, among others, facilities in Wałbrzych, Racibórz and Warsaw.
