Budimex to modernise the Praga Hospital in Warsaw

On 6 December 2013, Budimex signed a contract with the Praga Hospital p.w. Transfiguration of the Lord of the Blessed Virgin Society. with about. o. a contract for the performance of construction and installation works as part of the task Modernization of building A. The contract has a net value of PLN 33.9 million.

The Prague Hospital is under the protection of the conservator. It is the oldest hospital in Warsaw – it has been operating for over 200 years.

Thanks to the modernization, the main building of our Hospital will not only regain its former glory, but will also become a fully modern and well-equipped facility guaranteeing patients a world-class standard of treatment – he emphasizes Halina Depcik, President of the Management Board of the Praga Hospital p.w. Transfiguration of the Lord of the Blessed Virgin Society. with Oo.

The scope of modernization works includes:

  • change of the internal functional layout of rooms in the six-storey main building (one underground storey, five above-ground),
  • revitalization of the internal area of the hospital,
  • demolition of the two-storey extension (from the inside of the hospital), the entrance ramp to the building, selected elements of small architecture,
  • reconstruction of technical installations.

The works will last 30 months and will be carried out in such a way as to disrupt the functioning of active hospital wards in building A as little as possible.
