Budimex will build a distribution centre for “Biedronka”

The contract provides for m.in. construction of 5 buildings, internal roads, parking lots and parking areas with the necessary infrastructure. The area of the investment area is 86,855 m².

On almost ninety thousand square meters of land, a warehouse and distribution hall with technological galleries with a usable area of 21.5 thousand^m2, a two-storey office and social building with a usable area of 2.3 thousand^m2, a car wash for trucks and a porter’s lodge building with a drive-through shelter and a shelter for bicycles will be built. There will also be a network of internal roads and two car parks for passenger cars for 115 vehicles and two parking areas for vans, which will accommodate 65 vehicles.

The works began on 23 October and the planned deadline for the implementation of the contract is July 2013.

The JMD Distribution Centre in Gdańsk will provide services related to the collection of goods from suppliers, their short-term storage, completion and distribution of product deliveries to the “Biedronka” grocery stores.
