Budimex will build a new Faculty of Chemistry for the Jagiellonian University

The new building of the Faculty of Chemistry will be located on the Renewal Campus of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. As part of the investment, Budimex will build a four-storey facility, which is divided into seven segments with various functions:

  • segment A, which will include auditoriums, lecture halls, seminar and language rooms, computer labs, changing rooms, general toilets and a buffet,
  • segment B, which will house a library, teaching laboratories, administrative rooms, and a faculty conference room,
  • segments C and D – administrative rooms of the Faculty of Chemistry, rooms of researchers, social rooms,
  • segment E – specialist laboratories of researchers and faculty laboratories,
  • segment F – specialist laboratories of researchers,
  • segment G – a technical building with a built-in transformer station, chemical reagent warehouses and technical rooms for the building.

The total usable area of the building will be approx. 28 thousand m.kw. Ok. 15 thousand m.kw. will be occupied by green areas, and roads, parking lots, pedestrian routes and squares – 11.5 thousand. m.kw.

The consortium of Budimex and Mostostal Kraków has two years to implement the investment.
