Budimex will build another section of the S17

On 27 January 2016, Budimex signed a contract with the Lublin Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the design and construction of the S17 Warsaw – Garwolin expressway on the Kołbiel – Garwolin section.

The contract has a net value of PLN 235.8 million. As part of the investment, Budimex will design and build a 13-kilometre section of a dual carriageway expressway from the end of the Kołbiel bypass to the beginning of the Garwolin bypass.

Budimex has 34 months to complete the investment. Winter periods (from mid-December to mid-March) will not be included in the implementation time.

This is another contract of Budimex for the construction of the S17. On 22 September last year, Budimex signed two contracts for the design and construction of two sections of the S17 Garwolin – Kurów expressway: from Garwolin to Gończyce (PLN 234.6 million net) and from Gończyce to the border of the Lubelskie and Mazowieckie voivodeships (PLN 255 million net).
The sections have a total length of 25.2 km.
