Budimex will build the Jarocin bypass

On 18 November, Budimex signed a contract with the Poznań Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) for the design and construction of the Jarocin bypass. The contract has a net value of PLN 238.5 million.

The Jarocin bypass will be built as part of the S11 expressway connecting Kołobrzeg, Poznań and Bytom. Transit traffic from two national roads running through the city will also be directed to the new bypass.

As part of the investment, Budimex will build:

• 13-kilometer section of the expressway,
• 13 engineering structures,
• 2 road junctions,
• transverse and access roads.

Budimex will have two years from the signing of the contract to implement this investment. Winter periods between December 15 and March 15 will not be included in the implementation time.
