Budimex will build the S6 Płoty – Kiełpino expressway

On 5 October 2015, Budimex signed a contract with the Szczecin Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the design and construction of the S6 expressway on the section from the end of the bypass of the city of Szczecin. Fences to the Kiełpino junction (with the junction). Budimex will build this road for PLN 206.5 million net.

The scope of work includes the construction of:

• 14.6-kilometre section of the expressway,
• of Wicimice and Kiełpino transport hubs
• engineering structures (viaducts, bridges, flyovers, animal crossings, culverts over watercourses),
• access roads for local traffic,
• infrastructure for environmental protection (animal crossings, culverts, acoustic screens, partition nets, rainwater pre-treatment devices),
• reconstruction of public roads, power and water supply networks.

In the future, expressway No. 6 will connect the largest cities of Northern Polish: Szczecin, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Słupsk, Koszalin.

Budimex will have 34 months from the date of signing the contract to perform the works (excluding winter periods from 15 December to 15 March).
