Budimex will complete the construction of the A1 motorway

On 22 April 2014, Budimex signed a contract with the Łódź branch of GDDKiA for the completion of works on a 15.2-kilometre section of the A1 motorway after Poldim and Bogl a Krysl. The section is located between the villages of Sójki and Piątek in the Łódź Voivodeship. The contract value is PLN 49.7 million net.

The scope of work includes:

• demolition of elements of roads, streets and utilities networks,

• construction of the Kotliska junction with a toll collection station, completion of the construction of the administrative and social building,

• construction of service areas for travellers in Krzyżanów Zachodni and Krzyżanów Wschodni,

• completion of the reconstruction of the existing and construction of new communal, local and access roads,

• completion of the construction and reconstruction of sidewalks, exits, bays, parking lots, internal roads,

• construction of manoeuvring roads and parking spaces at motorway service areas,

• completion of the construction and reconstruction of technical infrastructure,

• completion of the construction of engineering structures and traffic safety elements,

• repair works and planting greenery.

Budimex has 13 months to complete the investment (not including the winter period from 15 December to 15 March).
