On 20 December, Budimex signed an agreement under the Cooperation Programme with the Head of the National Tax Administration. The agreement was signed by: Marcin Węgłowski – Member of the Management Board – Director of the Financial Division of Budimex SA and Jacek Daniewski – Member of the Management Board – Director of the Legal and Organisational Division of Budimex SA and Bartosz Zbaraszczuk – Head of the National Tax Administration.
This program is a new form of relations and close, partnership cooperation between large taxpayers and the National Revenue Administration. Participation in the Programme is a confirmation that the taxpayer’s tax procedures and processes as well as supervision over tax settlements meet the highest standards. It also means a number of benefits that have not been available so far for entities joining the Programme. It is also a new dimension of relations and interaction between the taxpayer and the tax administration, based on mutual trust, transparency and cooperation.
The Cooperation Programme is a new solution provided for large taxpayers (over EUR 50 million in revenues per year), under which the taxpayer signs a cooperation agreement with the Head of the National Revenue Administration and establishes a new dimension of relations and interaction with the tax administration.
Operating under the Programme, the taxpayer is not subject to inspections, but is covered by the so-called monitoring audit, which assesses the quality and effectiveness of the so-called Internal Tax Supervision and Tax Risk Management Framework – says Marcin Węgłowski – Member of the Management Board and Financial and Economic Director of Budimex SA.
Under the Cooperation Programme, the taxpayer obtains, among other things, certainty of the correct application of tax law in the present tense, translating into certainty and predictability of expenses related to tax burdens and the possibility of concluding the so-called tax burdens. tax arrangements.
Joining the Program significantly improves security in the organization and allows it to grow without tax risk. Such solutions, provided in particular for large enterprises, are known in many EU countries (the so-called Cooperative Compliance or Horizontal Monitoring) – adds Marcin Węgłowski.
