Budimex will expand Ferrero Polska’s factory

On 14 August 2014, Budimex signed two contracts with Ferrero Polska for the expansion of the factory in Belsk Duży near Grójec. The net value of both contracts is PLN 153.7 million.

The scope of work includes:

• construction of a new production hall, consisting of two factory floors with an area of over 10 thousand^m2 each, and three office floors with an area of 840^m2 each
• construction of a high-bay warehouse (over 38 m high) with an area of 5.8 thousand^m2, which will accommodate almost 35 thousand sq. m. Pallets
• construction of a transshipment hall with an area of 3.6 thousand^m2
• construction of flyovers connecting the new warehouse with production halls
• construction of all necessary installations
• development of the outdoor area – parking spaces, entrances, fencing

The entire investment will be completed in August 2015.

The factory in Belsk fulfills orders not only for the Polish market, but also produces and packs for the needs of Germany, Great Britain, Scandinavia, Italy, Spain, Eastern and Central European countries, among others. Products from the factory in Belsk also go to other continents in about 60 countries around the world.
