Budimex will reconstruct 22 km of road No. 527 between Łukta and Olsztyn

July 01, 2021 Budimex has signed a contract with the Provincial Roads Authority at the Marshal’s Office of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in Olsztyn for the extension of provincial road No. 527 on the Łukta – Olsztyn section. The contract was concluded in the build formula.

The construction will follow the current road No. 527 over a length of 22 kilometers. Part of the road with a length of approx. 4 kilometers – between Łukta and Pelnik, will be excluded from traffic, which will be led on this section by detours.  Budimex will start work at the turn of July and August this year.  The new road should be ready in mid-2023. The value of the investment will be
PLN 96 million gross.

Scope of reconstruction:

– extension of DW No. 527 on the section Łukta – Olsztyn from km 75+200 to 97+030 – road class G, KR4, roadway width 6.0/7.0 m;

– reconstruction or extension of roads intersecting with the designed road, on the section directly adjacent to DW 527;

– reconstruction or construction of sidewalks and bicycle paths, individual and public exits, parking spaces, pedestrian crossings, bus bays, road culverts.

– road drainage;

– construction or reconstruction of the existing technical infrastructure colliding with the designed road system. – including the electrical, sanitary, telecommunications, gas industries;

– reconstruction of two bridge structures;

– cutting down trees and shrubs colliding with the investment, development of green areas and finishing works.
