Budimex joins the National Vaccination Programme, under which the largest employers in the country can organise vaccinations for their employees outside the dates provided for subsequent years by the National Health Fund. Budimex will want to vaccinate all its employees and their families against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The company plans to vaccinate a total of approx. 25 thousand people. Vaccinations will be voluntary. At the moment, employee declarations are being collected.

The medical preparations will come from government reserves, and Budimex will organise appropriate medical staff and vaccination facilities.

We are the largest construction group in Poland employing over 7 thousand employees. The health and safety of people is a priority value for us as an employer. We have performed over four thousand PCR tests,” says Cezary Mączka, Member of the Management Board of Budimex SA, Director of the Human Resources Management Division

Budimex is already preparing for the entire operation, which, according to government declarations, could start in May this year as soon as possible.

We have invested millions of zlotys in measures to protect and support hybrid work. The number of new cases at Budimex is currently half as high as during the second wave of the pandemic in November 2020. We are already preparing to organize vaccinations as an employer. We will want to vaccinate all employees and their families as soon as possible in every place and on every construction site in Poland and abroad. This program will cover a total of approx. 25 thousand people – says Cezary Mączka.

Budimex has also joined a social campaign to raise awareness of the threat posed to health by COVID-19 and the coronavirus. The new spot, in which the characters talk about the authentic effects caused by the disease, has been broadcast on the Internet since mid-January 2021. The experiences presented in the film are based on real accounts of people who have undergone the disease. The aim of the campaign is to draw attention to the threat posed by the epidemic, despite the start of vaccinations.
