Communication Centre in Kielce at the end of construction

The construction of the Kielce communication centre is already over 90% advanced. At the moment, finishing works are underway on all the facilities that make up the center.

Decorative elements are being installed on the roofs of all levels of the bus station. The installation of floors and small architecture inside the station and on the square in front of the station is underway. The ticket offices and technical rooms of the station building are being finished. On average, more than 100 people work on the construction site every day. The first acceptance of the investment by the supervisory services has already begun. So far, more than 180 subcontractors have been involved in the investment.

In June, we should receive components from China for more than 40 LED displays, the delivery of which was delayed due to COVID-19 epidemiological restrictions in China. We need about a month to install them. The communication centre should be put into operation, within the postponed contract deadline by two months, by the end of August 2020 – says Grzegorz Tomporowski – Contract Manager at Budimex SA

The modernization of the communication center began in September 2018. The investor is the Public Transport Authority in Kielce. The usable area is 3,577.81 m2 and the cubic capacity is 18,225.0 m3. The new communication center will be an interchange for urban, suburban and car bus transport. A center for meetings and cultural and entertainment events will also be built here. The gross value of the investment is PLN 69 million.
