Consortium of Budimex and Cadagua to modernise the central water supply system in Warsaw

On 29 November, the consortium of Budimex SA (leader, 50% of shares) and Cadagua SA – a company from the Ferrovial Group – signed a contract with the Municipal Water and Sewage Company in Warsaw for the modernization of technology at the Central Water Supply Plant (stage II – II – technological line).

The contract has a net value of PLN 64.8 million.

The scope of contract works includes repairs and modernizations of the following facilities:

• second stage pumping station,
• external chambers,
• building of filters and pulsators,
• coagulation building,
• lime building,
• inter-site networks.

The area of the facilities covered by the renovation is 5.3 thousand. m.kw.

The deadline for completion of the works is November 30, 2015.
