Estimate of the consolidated net profit of the Budimex Group for Q1 2019

The Management Board of Budimex SA informs that the consolidated net financial result of the Budimex Group for Q1 2019 amounted to PLN 29 million, which is a decrease of PLN 34 million (-54%) compared to the comparable period of the previous year. The net result of the construction segment for Q1 2019 amounted to PLN 6 million, which means a decrease by PLN 33 million (85%) compared to the comparable period of the previous year.

The decrease in the consolidated net result is mainly due to a decrease in profitability in the construction segment as a result of an increase in the prices of materials and subcontracting services. 

The publication of the above information is a consequence of a significant change in the level of the net financial result in a given period.
