On 14.12, the Supervisory Board of Budimex appointed three new members of the Management Board, expanding the current four-person composition of the Management Board. The following persons were appointed to their new position as of 1.01.2023: Anna Karyś – Sosińska, Maciej Olek and Cezary Łysenko.
Anna Karyś-Sosińska is the director of the human resources management division at Budimex SA. Maciej Olek is the director of railway construction at Budimex SA. Cezary Łysenko is the Director of Infrastructure Construction at Budimex S.A.
In addition to the newly appointed managers, the composition of the Management Board remains in its current shape: Artur Popko – President of the Management Board, Jacek Daniewski – Director of the Legal and Organizational Division, Marcin Węgłowski – Director of the Financial Division and Artur Pielech – President of FB Serwis.
Expanding the composition of the Management Board and strengthening it is a natural result of the development of the Budimex Group. Last year, the Budimex Group started operating on foreign markets: German, Czech and Slovak. The company has developed the following construction segments: railway, hydrotechnical, infrastructure. Budimex has invested in the area of RES, electromobility and waste and raw materials management. The strengthening of the Management Board will allow us to better respond to the requirements of new markets and the implementation of the Group’s strategic objectives in the coming years. The new members of the Management Board have over 20 years of experience in working in managerial and managerial positions in the Budimex Group. They participated in the development of new divisions, organisational structures and the implementation of the most demanding tasks in the field of construction management and HR. New members of the Management Board create and spread key values for Budimex, build and develop their teams, as well as strengthen the position of their subordinate areas against the background of the industry.
Anna Karyś-Sosińska is a graduate of the Cracow University of Economics. She started her experience in the HR area by working at the Krakow Institute of Technology, where in the years 2000 – 2002 as a Consultant she was responsible for executive search processes of senior and top management. She has been associated with the Budimex Group since 2002 and for the next 20 years she held the position of HR Manager/Director in most business areas. At the beginning of 2022, she took up the position of Director of the Human Resources Management Division at Budimex SA.
Maciej Olek – is a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He has been associated with the construction industry for over 20 years. In the years 2001-2007 he worked at NCC Polska on the implementation of the A2 motorway and on the Citytunnel project in Malmo (Sweden) where he was the deputy project manager. In 2008-2009, it built the S3 expressway. Since 2010, he has been associated with Budimex S.A., first as a site manager, then as a manager and contract director. Since autumn 2014, he has been responsible for building Budimex S.A.’s competence in the field of railway construction, first as the District Director, then as the Branch Director, and since May 2020, after Budimex S.A. achieved the role of the leader of the Polish railway project market as the Railway Construction Director.
Cezary Łysenko – is a graduate of the Bialystok University of Technology. In the years 1996 – 1999 he gained his first professional experience in voivodeship offices, being responsible for traffic engineering and road management. Since 2006, he has been associated with Budimex, first as the head of the technical department, then as the contract manager, regional director, director of the northern branch, and in 2020 he took over responsibility for the entire infrastructure construction at Budimex S.A. Along with the development of Budimex, in 2021 he took over responsibility for the development of the Budimex Group on foreign markets and also became a member of the Supervisory Board of Budimex Bau, Budimex Prague Construction and Budimex Slovakia. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of FBSerwis. In December 2021, he became the chairman of the Executive Committee of Budimex S.A.
