Międzyrzecz will have an express bypass

On 17 November 2014, Budimex signed a contract with the Zielona Góra Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the construction of the second carriageway of the Międzyrzecz bypass. The offer has a net value of PLN 83.6 million.

The scope of work includes the construction of:

• a 6.4-kilometre section of the second carriageway of the bypass along the S3 road and a connection with the already existing dual carriageway sections of roads at the Międzyrzecz Północ and Międzyrzecz Południe junctions,
• collector roads and engineering structures,
• the Międzyrzecz Zachód junction at the intersection of the bypass with the provincial road No. 137.

The investment will be completed within 22 months from the date of signing the contract, excluding winter periods between 15 December and 15 March.
