Mostostal Kraków – a subsidiary of Budimex – will build an airport in Szymany

On 2 June 2014, the Warmia and Mazury company from Szczytno near Olsztyn officially announced the selection of the offer of Mostostal Kraków, a subsidiary of Budimex, for the construction of the landing area and the development of a design and construction of a radio navigation system at the “Mazury” Airport in Szymany near Szczytno.

The contract value is PLN 90.5 million net.

The scope of work includes two tasks:

• construction of landing areas (runway, taxiway, apron for airplanes and helicopters, technical and fire roads, parking areas for airport maintenance equipment, navigation lighting and power grids) and guardhouse,
• development and construction of ground radio navigation aid.

The investment is to be completed by the end of August 2015.
