New members of the Supervisory Board of Budimex SA

The Ordinary General Meeting of Budimex S.A. on 20 May 2021 adopted resolutions appointing new members to the Supervisory Board of Budimex S.A. On the basis of the above-mentioned resolutions, the members of the Supervisory Board were: Mr. Dariusz Blocher and Mr. Ignacio Aitor Garcia Bilbao

  1. Mr. Dariusz Blocher

Mr. Dariusz Blocher is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering at the Częstochowa University of Technology. After graduation in 1992, he started working at the Industrial Boiler Factory Ahlstrom – Fakop. In the years 1993 – 1994 he worked in the distribution company “Proman” s.c. in Katowice as a branch manager. Since May 1994 until February 2002 he was associated with Pepsi Co. Poland, performing successively the following functions: Head of the Sales Branch in Silesia, Director of Sales in the Sales and Distribution Department, and since September 1998 Director of Chief Executive Officer personnel in production plants and at the Pepsi Cola headquarters in Poland.

In 2007, he graduated from IESE Business School in Barcelona, completing the AMP (Advance Management Program). Since February 2002. he was a member of the Management Board, Director of human resources management of Budimex SA. From November 2007, he was the President of the Management Board, Chief Executive Officer of Budimex Dromex S.A. and a member of the Management Board of Budimex S.A.

Since September 2009. by May 2021 he was the President of the Management Board, CEO of Budimex S.A. Mr. Dariusz Blocher resigned on May 19, 2021. from the functions performed in the Management Board of Budimex S.A.

  1. Mr. Ignacio Aitor Garcia Bilbao

Mr. Ignacio Garcia Bilbao is Chief Financial Officer of Ferrovial Construction, responsible for all economic and financial aspects of the division.

Education: Diploma in Economics and Business Administration from Comillas University ICADE (Madrid) and Management Development Program (PDD) from IESE.

He started his professional career as an auditor at Deloitte, joining Ferrovial Agroman after 2 years. Since then, he has many years of experience at Ferrovial, holding various management positions and being a member of the board representing Ferrovial in various companies.

In 2000, after the acquisition of Budimex, he lived in Warsaw until 2003, where he served as Deputy Financial Director and Control Director. From 2011 to 2019, he was Chief Financial Officer at Ferrovial Airports and Ferrovial Power Infrastructures, rejoining the Ferrovial Construction team as CFO in 2020. In addition to his experience in finance and development, he has also contributed to the development of Ferrovial’s innovations, being a member of the Digital Vision Board for several years.
