Official opening of the terminal in Świdnik

As part of the contract, Budimex built a passenger terminal with a technical, technical and garage building and a building for the airport fire brigade.

The terminal has a total area of 11 thousand. m.kw. and consists of three wings. The central point is the departures hall with the baggage and ticket check-in area. In the west wing there is the arrivals area, and in the east wing there is the departures area. The southern wing is occupied by the railway station and accompanying office rooms intended for the airport administration as well as customs and border services.

The new terminal is able to accommodate 1 million passengers per year. The project provides for the possibility of expanding the airport, depending on the demand and the number of connections.

The new terminal has already gained the recognition of Internet users. In the online competition Life in Architecture, this building received the most votes and was awarded the title of Polish’s Favourite.
