The Jarocin bypass along the S-11 expressway was officially put into service today.

Within the 10-kilometre section of the road built in the “design and build” system, two road junctions “Mieszków” and “Jarocin” were built, including a three-kilometre connector of the accelerated traffic road. The project included the construction of thirteen bridge structures, including a railway viaduct over the ring road in the line No. 281 Oleśnica-Chojnice, two road bridges serving as animal crossings in the S-11 line, two nodal viaducts, one connector viaduct in the GP class and transverse structures in the line of lower class roads. In addition, culverts were made, including ecological culverts, transverse roads were rebuilt, access and internal roads were built, and the conflicting technical infrastructure was modernized.

Despite delays related to protracted administrative procedures caused by changes in the environmental protection law, the works were completed more than two months earlier than included in the annex extending the deadline for completion of the investment until 15 November.

The contract value is 238.5 million net.
