Budimex joins the social campaign to raise awareness of the threat posed to health by COVID-19 and the coronavirus. The new spot, in which the characters talk about the authentic effects caused by the disease, will be broadcast online from mid-January 2021. The experiences presented in the film are based on real accounts of people who have undergone the disease. The aim of the campaign is to draw attention to the threat posed by the epidemic, despite the start of vaccinations.

The largest Polish general construction contractor got involved in the fight against COVID as early as spring 2020 and since then has supported more than 30 hospitals and care facilities with funds and material donations worth over PLN 3 million.

– The epidemic will continue to affect our private and professional lives – says Cezary Mączka, Member of the Management Board of Director. Human Resources Management Budimex SA – We would like the number of new cases to be as low as possible, especially in spring. It still depends to a large extent on ourselves, how we behave socially and whether we follow the rules of hygiene –Adds.

Although the construction industry has been affected by economic restrictions to a lesser extent than other sectors of the economy, Budimex estimates the costs caused by the pandemic so far at PLN 30 million.
