On December 23, the ceremonial opening of the Bełchatów bypass took place. The construction of a nearly 11-kilometre section of national road No. 74 (formerly national road No. 8) was put into operation four months ahead of schedule. This is another road investment that Budimex has completed ahead of schedule. On 19 December, we informed about the Miłomłyn – Ostróda Północ section of the S7 expressway commissioned ahead of schedule.
The bypass runs north of Bełchatów, crossing provincial roads No. 484 (Zelów – Bełchatów) and 485 (Pabianice – Bełchatów). As part of the task, four road junctions were built (entry and exit of the trumpet type, at the intersection with provincial roads – diamonds), eight viaducts, a passage for animals and a bridge.
