On Monday, January 18, the AVM Barbara shield at the construction site of the MPWiK collector broke through to the receiving chamber located behind the Toruńska Route (Armii Krajowa).

Since the beginning of the works, i.e. for a month and a half, 0.6 km  of the tunnel of the new collector has been built. The works are going at a good pace and are ahead of schedule at the moment. There are days when the machine drills about 30 meters of tunnel a day. Now the target will be moved from the chamber behind the Grot-Rowecki Bridge to the starting chamber at the Olympic Center, from where it will start drilling to the south.

The construction of the Vistula Sewer began in December 2020. Works on the 5.5 km long section implemented by Budimex SA will be completed in 2022.
