The progress of construction of the structure supporting the new bridge over the Vistula River has exceeded 52%. Currently, the concreting of the support structure on the river is underway. The supports of the new bridge in Warsaw will be ready by the end of 2022.

The supports on both banks of the Vistula are ready. The first to be fully completed were five land supports. The structures marked with the symbols P1, P1a, P5, P6 and P7 (the first two on the Vistula Boulevards, the others on the Praga bank of the Vistula) have been ready since the end of the summer holidays. Their pillars are the easiest to see by residents moving near the construction site. On the Praga side, the concreting of the retaining wall at the P7 support has also been completed. When the concrete binds properly, the 133 m long wall will be insulated and partially covered with soil (the so-called engineering backfill).

The works will also be carried out in winter. More than 40 equipment units work on the construction site every day. The works are carried out from the water and land level.

All supports should be ready by the end of the year. Works in 2023 They will already involve the assembly of the steel structure (the bridge’s load-bearing structure), and then with finishing works, i.e. m.in. laying the surface and insulation of the crossing and the installation of bridge equipment elements, m.in. railings, benches, cameras and lighting.
