Budimex was honoured with the title and statuette of the Builder of Polish Sport in the fourteenth edition of the competition organised by the Polska Sports Club.
The award is given for special achievements in the field of sports construction.
Budimex was awarded in the category “General Contractor of Sports and Recreation Facilities” for its overall activity related to the construction of sports and recreational facilities in Poland, with particular emphasis on the following projects:
- European Park of Active Rehabilitation in Bydgoszcz
- Sports hall and student dormitory of the State Higher School of Higher Education in Biała Podlaska
- Polish-German Culture and Sports Center in Człopa
- Sports and entertainment hall in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski
- Sports hall on the border of Gdańsk and Sopot
- Reconstruction of the Arka Gdynia stadium
- Swimming pool and sports hall at ul. Lindego in Warsaw
- Tourist and recreation complex in Żagań
The Builder of Polish Sport competition was held under the honorary patronage of the marshals of the provinces and the nationwide program of the BUILDER monthly magazine – We promote Polish Architecture.
