The title of “Pearl of the Polish Economy” for Budimex

In the 12th edition of the Pearls of the Polish Economy Ranking organised by the economic magazine “Polish Market” in cooperation with the Department of Decision Support and Analysis of the Institute of Econometrics of the Warsaw School of Economics, Budimex was awarded the title of “Pearl of the Polish Economy” in the Great Pearls category.

The jury awarded Budimex for the consistent implementation of the company’s policy and strategy and the position of a leader among the most dynamic and effective companies in Poland.

2 thousand took part in the ranking. companies whose revenues from total business activity during the year amounted to at least PLN 100 million for the Large Pearls category and PLN 1 billion for the Great Pearls category.

The following criteria were taken into account in the evaluation:

  • financial liquidity,
  • efficiency of operation,
  • profitability
  • debt.

Such a selection of indicators allowed for the analysis of the current situation of the company, the assessment of its development capabilities in the near future and the analysis of the use of available resources.

The award is given in the following categories: economy, science, culture, promotion of Polish traditions and national heritage, and promotion of social values.

The patronage over the project was taken by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Janusz Piechociński, President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Michał Kleiber and the Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics, Prof. Tomasz Szapiro.
