In the eleventh edition of the Pearls of the Polish Economy Ranking organised by the economic magazine “Polish Market” in cooperation with the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Budimex was awarded the title of “Pearl of the Polish Economy” in the Great Pearls category.
2 thousand took part in the ranking. companies whose revenues from total business activity during the year amounted to at least PLN 100 million for the Large Pearls category and PLN 1 billion for the Great Pearls category.
The following criteria were taken into account in the evaluation:
- dynamics of revenues from overall business activity,
- profitability of trading,
- rate of return on assets and equity,
- labour productivity measured by added production,
- the total productivity of human, physical and financial capital.
The event was held under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Janusz Piechociński and the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences Prof. Michał Kleiber.
