The Wrocław car park at the Centennial Hall meets the highest standards!

The car park at the Centennial Hall in Wrocław has been awarded the European Standard Parking Award (ESPA). This is the most prestigious award in the parking industry.
The investment was designed and executed as part of a public-private partnership (PPP) by Budimex Parking Wrocław – a company owned by Budimex SA.

The ESPA Awards were established by the European Parking Association (EPA) to improve the quality of service provided to customers by the parking industry. Winning the award depended on the assessment of the following elements of the investment: lighting, entrance/exit, parking area, pedestrian routes, ramps, signposts, devices guaranteeing safety and comfort of use. The award ceremony took place on September 16 during the first International Parking Seminar in Krakow. The awards were presented by the Polish Parking Industry Organization – the EPA’s representative in Poland. Budimex Parking Wrocław was represented by its President – Jerzy Angrocki and Member of the Management Board – Zbigniew Kamecki.

– We are honoured that our project, which was created in the public-private partnership formula, has been awarded such a prestigious award. Especially since we were the first to climb it in Poland. – President Angrocki does not hide his satisfaction.

ESPA is awarded to multi-storey public car parks that meet a number of quality requirements. The European Parking Standards guarantee customers comfort and safety of parking.

The Wrocław car park is part of the global trend of moving parked cars from the streets and city centres to a specially created parking infrastructure. On its three levels there are 792 places, including 9 for the disabled and 20 for coaches. It is adjacent to the historic Centennial Hall, which allowed the exhibition areas around it to be freed from cars. It is one of the few projects in Poland and the first in the Budimex Group implemented as part of a public-private partnership. Budimex Parking Wrocław, owned by Budimex SA, designed, executed and financed the implementation of the investment on behalf of Wrocławskie Przedsiębiorstwo Hali Ludowej Sp. z o.o. and will be its operator until the end of the concession agreement, i.e. on August 31, 2042. After this period, the supervision of the facility will be taken over by the city of Wrocław.
