At the Warszawa Zachodnia station, the passage of long-distance and regional trains is maintained. On the next four weekends on Saturdays and Sundays (30-31.01., 06-07.02., 13-14.02., 20-21.02) access by WKD trains from the Warszawa Zachodnia station to the Warszawa Śródmieście WKD station is limited.

Wukadka will end and start journeys from the Warszawa Reduta Ordona station. Bus transport will be provided for travelers on the section Warsaw Aleje Jerozolimskie – Warszawa Śródmieście WKD. Passengers are kept informed about changes in communication by voice messages.

The time and scope of work is agreed with carriers. WKD informs in detail about the organization of traffic on weekends.

At the station from ul. Tunelowa, passengers can still use the current transport at the bus terminus.  The square is “moved” closer to ul. Railway. The access route has been marked. The changes were necessary due to the scope of construction works.

Warszawa Zachodnia is changing for travellers

Changes in traffic organization are related to the modernization of the Warszawa Zachodnia station. A piling machine will work on platform 1 of the WCR. The works are necessary for the construction of the footbridge. A temporary technical passage from the side of Al. Jerozolimskie. This is where special equipment will be introduced. The work area is under the supervision of the contractor’s employees, secured and marked. The robots do not affect the safety of travelers.

The modernisation of the Warszawa Zachodnia station will ensure better passenger access to agglomeration, regional and long-distance trains. At the busiest station, train service will be more efficient. The possibility of combining rail and public transport will increase.
