Warszawa Zachodnia – new access to platform 8 (ring line)

On 18 December (Friday), Budimex – the general contractor of the Warszawa Zachodnia station – is introducing a new temporary passage from the bus terminus to ul. Tunelowa (from the side of Wola) and from the side of the Warszawa Zachodnia railway station to platform 8 (ring line). The current passage must be occupied by the construction site. The new crossing is only about 150 meters longer. Getting there by the new road takes, as before, about . 5 minutes.

Works in Warszawa Zachodnia are moving from the preparatory phase to the heavy work phase. The contractor acts in accordance with the valid building permit. At the moment, the postponement of collisions of underground installations, the construction of walls for diaphragm walls and the collection of rails, crushed stone and sleepers are underway. Preparations are underway for the construction of a flyover over the platforms, which will enable passenger communication during the construction of the new station. There are currently 200 people and 100 units of equipment working on the construction site.
