Construction of the A-1 motorway from Pyrzowice to Piekary Śląskie with a length of 14.52 km with two three-lane roadways, two two-lane roadways with the possibility of widening to three-lane roadways, two junctions, access roads and two-level intersections. As part of the project, eight road and seven motorway viaducts, two bridges and one railway viaduct were built. The entire work also included industry robots m.in. traffic safety and environmental protection devices, rainwater and teletechnical sewage systems and lighting installation. The net value of the project was PLN 1.5 billion.
