Built by Budimex, in the “build” system, the six-kilometre Wałbrzych bypass runs through the mountainous terrain of the so-called “build”. Wałbrzyska Mountains approx. 500 m above sea level and allows you to bypass the city center in the wake of the national road No. 35 (Polish border – Wrocław). The Wałbrzych bypass is a dual carriageway road with three communication junctions: Rondo Niepodległości; Żeromskiego junction; Reja junction. 3 flyovers were built on the route: No. 5 (roundabout), viaduct No. 6 (Żeromskiego Street), viaduct No. 7 (Reja Street). The longest of the buildings is 180 meters long. Budimex has also constructed an underground passage along ul. Żeromski. A footbridge was built over the bypass in the area of Dr. Oczki and St. Kinga and three frame culverts on the Szczawnik stream.

The following were used for the construction: 750 thousand. tons on embankments, 80 thousand. tons of asphalt mix, over 2 thousand. tons of reinforcing steel and over 19 thousand. cubic meters of concrete. The task also included the reconstruction of 16 existing streets.
