The construction of the new Frito-Lay factory took 20 months in record time. The plant is PepsiCo’s largest investment in Poland so far. The factory in Środa Śląska will be the most environmentally sustainable PepsiCo plant in Europe and will ultimately employ over 450 people. The facility will produce potato and corn snacks from supplies from Polish farmers.

The investment has the highest ecological parameters. The building has been equipped with a water recovery system, technological heat with heat conversion into cooling and heating. With environmental protection in mind, our own photovoltaics and high-class wastewater treatment plants have also been installed, as well as electric car power points. The plant will achieve climate neutrality by 2035.
