For the construction of the Special School and Education Centre for Disabled Children and Youth in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Budimex was awarded the “Silesian Grand Construction Award” in the third edition of the “Silesian Construction – 2013” competition and the Top Municipal Investments 2013 award. In a fully equipped complex located on over five hectares with a total area of over 24.5 thousand. m2 there are: kindergarten, primary school, vocational school, middle school, high school and rehabilitation complex. The whole is complemented by a sports complex (swimming pool, two gymnasiums, several rehabilitation rooms, specialist physio- and physiotherapy offices, three sports fields and three playgrounds), common rooms and auditoriums, a library with a reading room, a kitchen and a canteen. The works included not only the construction of the entire complex, but also the development of the area with elements of small architecture, the construction of roads, sidewalks and parking lots. The net value of the project is PLN 55 million.
