The entire complex of the new Museum covers a total of approx. 25 thousand m2 of usable area of new and revitalized facilities. It was built on the site of the former Katowice mine. As part of the project, the following were built: the Main Building of the Silesian Museum, a multi-storey car park and a hall, which is the central place of the Museum Quarter. The area was also revitalized, which will be adapted for a park function for public use. During the works, control and protection systems were also installed. The total area of the facility is 36 thousand. m2. The net value of the project is PLN 169 million.
