The airport in Świdnik serves low-cost airline connections. The new terminal with an area of 11 thousand. m2 consists of three wings. Its central point is the departure hall with the baggage and ticket check-in area. In the west wing there is the arrivals area – in the east wing there is the departures area. The southern wing is occupied by the railway station and accompanying office rooms, intended for the airport administration as well as customs and border services. There is also a commercial area in the terminal, with cafes, bars and duty-free shops. The passenger terminal of the Lublin airport won the online plebiscite of the 7th edition of the “Life in Architecture” competition, receiving the prestigious title of “Polish’s Favourite”. The usable area of the terminal is 11.5 thousand. m2, cubic volume: 85 thousand m³. The net value of the project is PLN 75 million.
